Sunday, August 29th, 2010This sweet girl came by my studio on Friday for her photo shoot and she did great. Katherine is a baby planner of mine, so I have been shooting her since she was a newborn. It is so fun getting to watch her grow up and get bigger and to see how her cute personality is evolving. I will be sharing more of her session real soon! As for this shot, I grabbed it just as her mom and her were leaving and I love it! Christina, this one is for you!
Los Angeles Family Photographer | Holiday Mini-Sessions At The Beach!
Saturday, August 28th, 2010The holidays are not that far off and now is the time to think about having your family photos taken along with choosing your holiday cards. This year we will be offering two dates that we will be shooting our mini-sessions. Don’t wait to sign up because there are only a limited number of sessions available.

We are offering three different packages this year and your images will be fully edited and prepared for your viewing in a private online image gallery on or before October 31st, 2010. You will have one week to view your images and make your print and digital image choices. All print orders are scheduled to arrive to you before December 5th, 2010. Should you wish to purchase additional prints, holiday cards, digital images or any other specialty items, please see our A La Carte Pricing List, under the investment tab, on our website for pricing information. Any specialty items such as canvases, image boxes, jewelry and albums typically arrive 4-6 weeks after the order has been placed and these items will incur additional shipping costs.

For packages including holiday cards, you will be given access to an online gallery where you can choose from a large selection of flat two sided cards. All cards are press printed with a standard semi-gloss finish and are custom designed for your order. Below is a small sampling of the many cards we offer!

Due to the hectic nature of the holiday season combined with the sessions we already have booked, we will not be shooting any family sessions during the months of November and December. The only sessions we will be booking during November and December are Newborn Sessions. If you are interested in booking a Newborn Session, or know someone that is, please contact us right away to reserve your appointment – there are a very limited number of these sessions remaining for those months!!! Los Angeles and Orange County Maternity Photographer | Model Perfect Day
Thursday, August 26th, 2010Back in June I attended a photography workshop given by the super talented Kamee June. The best part of the whole day aside from meeting new friends and colleagues, was the fact that I won a free two hour mentoring session with Kamee June. She and I instantly connected at the workshop and I could not wait for our date to hang out and do some shooting. We had actually gotten together prior to the mentoring session to collaborate on a newborn photo shoot and working with her is seamless. For the one on one mentoring session I joked with Kamee that we would need much longer than just two hours to hang out and she totally agreed, so I was there shooting with her from morning until night. It was such an amazing day. Shannon and Brian were our models for the maternity photo session in the morning and they were up for anything. Shannon looked so beautiful and shooting with her and Brian was so much fun. After spending about 4 hours with them, we then headed out to a local salon to photograph some model head shots that the salon needed for a possible print publication. The model looked perfect and she was beautifully styled by the incredibly talented Katrina Kirk. Once that session was finished we were off to a beautiful sunset shoot with Shannon and Brian. This is just a small peek of what we were up to that day. To everyone involved, I thank you so-so much!!! Kam – you are the best, I had a blast and I can’t wait to hang with you next week!!! xoxoxo

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010I gave you a small teaser a little bit back from my session with the Rappole Family. For those that don’t remember, that was the session where we got into a little bit of trouble with the waves. Glad to say we all survived, but I am not so sure everyone’s shoes lasted!!! I love the fact that everyone in their family was here together staying by the beach having a family vacation. Clint was celebrating his 70th birthday and it was so nice to be able to capture these memories for them. The kids were all so cute and this whole group was a lot of fun to hang out with. Clint and Leigh had flown in from Texas for the vacation and that made me happy knowing I had a little piece of home there with me at the session even though I had just met them. Sunday, August 8th, 2010When I introduced to you a teaser of this newborn session a couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t wait to show you more photos from this session. Sweet, sweet Presley came in for her newborn photo shoot at a mere 6 days old and look how perfect she was. She surprised us all by smiling off and on throughout her whole session. Presley also knew that the day would be long, so she was the perfect newborn baby and slept through 99% of the whole session. I was so happy to get to meet her big sister Austin who came to join us later in the day for a few photos. Austin will be the perfect big sis to her always being her best friend. Jen and Mat are such amazing parents and I am truly happy for this family and their new bundle of joy. Thursday, August 5th, 2010I gave you a teaser two weeks ago of this sweet girl and here is her sneak peek! Madison came to my studio for her newborn photography session and this baby was beautiful!!! Her skin is like honey, she’s just so pretty and she really was a sleeping beauty. Madison’s mom Mia booked this session with a goal in mind and that was to get birth announcements done for Madison before too much time passed. We offer a wide variety of custom designed birth announcements and photo cards and the ones that Mia ordered were beautiful. Thank you so much Mia for bringing Madison down for the shoot, we had a great morning and I loved getting to hang out with you guys!!! Here is your official sneak peek!
Los Angeles Newborn Photographer | Sweet Little Guy
Saturday, July 31st, 2010This little one arrived at my studio yesterday ready for his newborn photo shoot with his mom and grandma in tow. One look at how cute he he was and my heart melted. I love it when I have the new moms to the studio and I get to tell them to put their feet up and relax or go to sleep for the next few hours. I want them to enjoy the session as a mini break where they can fall asleep on my couch and we can do the rest. So, while mom rested we had a chance to shoot away with this sweet boy. I can sit and stare for hours at a newborn and their perfect little features. They always have a sweet button nose, perfect chubby lips and my favorite are their fuzzy little ears and tiny eyelashes. Yesterday was a good good day!!! Mom, Dad and Grandma – here is your teaser!!!
