Los Angeles Family Photographer | Holiday Mini-Sessions At The Beach!

The holidays are not that far off and now is the time to think about having your family photos taken along with choosing your holiday cards.  This year we will be offering two dates that we will be shooting our mini-sessions.  Don’t wait to sign up because there are only a limited number of sessions available.

We are offering three different packages this year and your images will be fully edited and prepared for your viewing in a private online image gallery on or before October 31st, 2010.  You will have one week to view your images and make your print and digital image choices.  All print orders are scheduled to arrive to you before December 5th, 2010.  Should you wish to purchase additional prints, holiday cards, digital images or any other specialty items, please see our A La Carte Pricing List, under the investment tab, on our website for pricing information.  Any specialty items such as canvases, image boxes, jewelry and albums typically arrive 4-6 weeks after the order has been placed and these items will incur additional shipping costs.

For packages including holiday cards, you will be given access to an online gallery where you can choose from a large selection of flat two sided cards.  All cards are press printed with a standard semi-gloss finish and are custom designed for your order.  Below is a small sampling of the many cards we offer!

** Please Note**

Due to the hectic nature of the holiday season combined with the sessions we already have booked, we will not be shooting any family sessions during the months of November and December.  The only sessions we will be booking during November and December are Newborn Sessions.  If you are interested in booking a Newborn Session, or know someone that is, please contact us right away to reserve your appointment – there are a very limited number of these sessions remaining for those months!!!  You can also book your newborn session here!

Los Angeles Family Photographer | Rollins Family Easter Photos

I apologize for being gone so long!  In a very last minute decision my husband and I decided to pack up the three kids and head out to Texas to visit my family.  It was my daughter’s spring break and none of us had been to Texas in almost 4 1/2 years.  To make things even more exciting, we decided to make this a road trip.  Yes, you read correctly, a road trip.  Being in the car with a 5yr old, 2yr old and 10mos old for that many miles can be quite crazy, but to our surprise everyone did great!  I took some REALLY FUN photos on our trip and will be showing you those over the next few days.  With all of that being said, I must first post these photos from our Easter Sunday.  This was the first Easter for our youngest daughter, Grey, and she had so much fun and looked too cute in her dress.  Finley our oldest daughter was all about the chase in finding those eggs, while our 2yr old son Tanner didn’t want to take a break from playing and running around with his cousins.  You may wonder why you don’t see more photos of him on my blog and it’s because he absolutely does not want me to take his photo and he runs FAST when he sees me pull out the camera – LOL!!  I hope you all had a fun Easter weekend and I promise our Texas trip photos will be coming soon!

This last photo is my favorite of the day.  I absolutely love this photo of my husband and our baby girl!

Los Angeles Newborn Photographer | Newborn Easter Photos

When I took this shot I thought it was the perfect Newborn Easter Photo.  I love the way baby Tayla is all curled up in the Easter Basket, she looks so cute & cozy and she was perfect to photograph.  Easter is coming up next week, so I wanted to wish you all a very Happy Easter!

Since becoming a photographer, one of my favorite sessions to do are my newborn photography sessions.  A while back a very close friend of mine gave my daughter a blanket that she had crocheted.  I fell in love with it and decided to come up with a proposal for her.  I told her that I loved the hats that many photographers use in their newborn photo sessions and I showed her examples of hats that I loved and I asked her to make me a few.  Well, here we are now, 6 weeks later and “a few hats” has turned into “a lot”!!!!  These hats are so cute and soft and they are perfect to use in newborn photo sessions.  Due to the popular response to the hats, she decided to start an online boutique through Etsy called Nicolas & Reese so that she could sell the hats to anyone interested in them.  She has had a huge success selling the hats to photographers along with selling them as newborn gifts, parents LOVE these.  All hats are custom made to order and she typically ships out all hats within 7-10 business days.  You can check out her online store here for detailed pricing and product information.  Feel free to email her at nicolasandreese@me.com to place an order or to ask any questions.  Below are a few samples of the hats.  Take special note of the bunny hats, they are PERFECT to use in any Easter photo sessions!!!

I have been so swamped these past two weeks getting through the Valentine’s rush from everyone that took advantage of my Sweetest Valentine’s Mini-Session!  Thank you to everyone  who booked my special – all of the sessions were so much fun!!!  I have been wanting to post these photos I took of Nikole and Ava from their session.  You have to love it when their dad called me up to schedule a session as a surprise for his wife.  What a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day!
